As a part of this journey, a product innovation workshop was organized in collaboration with ProInn Consultancy® which provided an excellent platform to apply Structured Jugaad® (TRIZ) principles to real time GT engine problems. Teams with diverse technical backgrounds identified “key engineering problems” through functional and cause-effect diagram in a very structured way, figured out the associated functionalities, their interactions with each other and identified whether those functionalities can be replaced, merged or eliminated. Hands-on application of TRIZ tools and dedicated mentoring sessions by Mr. Kishan was instrumental in internalising the learning and developing multiple competing novel design solutions in a time bound manner.
